Street Angels York will operate out of a central location in the city centre. In the future this will not only provide a base for the Street Angels but also a safe place and a hot drink for the public to come and wait for taxis or lifts home. We are looking for volunteers to serve hot drinks, encourage the Street Angels and keep people company in the Safe Haven from 9pm till 2:30am. They will undergo the same training program as Street Angels but will not be required to go out on the streets. If you are interested in Volunteering then please fill out a Street Angels Application form but make a note that you wish to work in the safe haven.
